Linda Gray, DCL  - President, Corporate Connections has 25 years of Community Outreach services. Extensive work background with the Department of Human Services has afforded hands on experience with community mobilization skills. As Diversity Outreach Coordinator for the Women Business Center in 2002, recruited over 100 minority and women owned businesses in receiving technical assistance in starting their own businesses.

Joined SCORE, a volunteer resource partner with the Small Business Administration and is currently serving as an executive officer and Business Counselor for the SBA Dallas SCORE Headquarters. Personally responsible for recruiting and providing assistance in business planning and proposals, business certifications, registrations, and business financial packaging for minority, women owned, disabled and veteran businesses. Through the Alabama Cooperative Extension System wrote, submitted and was awarded a grant for a Breast Cancer Outreach Project for women living in rural communities.  Wrote grant proposals for several agencies and nonprofit organizations securing over 3.5 million dollars since 2002.

Awarded a Faith In Action grant from the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation that provided in home services for frail elderly and was successful in recruiting 100 volunteers. She developed and presented numerous workshops on grant writing, minority and women business certifications, and grants management. Currently a grant reviewer for AmeriCORPS, US Department of Education, HUD Fair Housing Initiative and the US Department of Justice. Listed as a consultant for the National Minority Aids Council and provides technical assistance to organizations that address HIV/AIDS issues. Appointed and currently serving as Commissioner for the National Baptist Convention, Inc., Prison Ministry and Criminal Justice Commission.

Recently received SBA’s Field Operation Center East 2007 Perseverance Award for dedication, drive and determination to help businesses and communities overcome the affects of the damage and devastation caused by hurricane Katrina. Recently secured grant funds from the American National Red Cross to provide summer enrichment activities for youth that were impacted by hurricane Katrina for 2006 and 2007 summer months in Mobile, Alabama. Additional business affiliation includes membership with the American Association of Grant Professionals. Hobbies are mosaics and jewelry making. Married to Robert and has 3 adult daughters and 4 grandchildren Camille, Simone, Jaiden and Corinne.
